Flexible Bootcamp

The flexible bootcamp will run for 24 weeks, taking a deep dive into the front end content from our tried and tested intensive syllabus. After completing a pre-course covering the basics, the cohort will start and finish the bootcamp together. The majority of the course will be delivered through video and workshop resources, which will be available on demand through online platforms.

Every Wednesday (18:00 - 21:00) evening and every other Saturday (10:00 - 16:00) the cohort will come together for live, online sessions. Bootcampers will also team up with a partner each week in order to complete workshop exercises, build projects and develop team-working skills. In total, you will commit a minimum of twenty-four hours a week to the course.

By the end of the bootcamp, you will have learned the fundamentals of programming, learned how to work in a remote, flexible and high performance tech team, and you will be specialised in front end JavaScript development.

To attend our part-time course you will need access to a computer and a good, stable internet connection. (If you do not have access to a computer, we have a limited amount of laptops we can provide to help for the duration of the course). Above all else, you must have a desire to learn independently and a curiosity for all things tech.

Application Process

Apply online

Head to our application form to start your journey. You need to have started your application by 8 March.

Make a character

Once your application has been reviewed and accepted, you'll be sent a link to create your very own pixel character.

Record a Video

Once you've made a character we'd like to get to know the real you. At this stage we ask you to record a video answering a few questions about yourself.

CS50 is Harvard's free online introduction into computer science and we are big fans! At this stage we ask you to watch the first lecture of the series and make a program using Scratch. Your pixel character, video and Scratch project need to be completed by 14 March - but the sooner you submit your full application, the sooner we can progress you to the next stage.

1-1 Interview

If your application makes it to this stage, you'll be invited to a video call, where we'll get to know more about you and how you think.

If your application is successful, we'll send you confirmation. It's then time to congratulate yourself on making it through a highly competitive process. Final confirmations will be decided by 18 March.

In our pre-course you'll be guided through the world of HTML, CSS, and introduced to JavaScript through our video tutorial resources. This is a chance to test whether the course is for you, learn something new and produce your first project. The pre-course will begin on 22 March, and there will be a live evening session on 24 March.
